Juki is the most fantastic poodle in the world! This scruffy little love-muffin was rescued by my old neighbors on Sunset Boulevard in Silver Lake just before the 4th of July in 2010. And they gave him to me! It was love at first sight and we have been living co-dependently idyllically happily-every-after for seven years!

July = A Month of Loss
Two years ago this weekend I broke up with my hot young stud-muffin boyfriend of almost three years. I kicked him out of my studio and delivered all of his belongings to his mother. I know this was the right thing to do but I’ve been upset about it ever since. And all I wanted him to do was either get a job or stop failing out of community college or stop having mental problems! I still miss my idealized vision/version of him. My friends and my therapist say I was just addicted to the sex. I say WTF? Emotions are often confusing and illogical.
